Walk through pine forests, open valleys, cross rivers and eat food cooked by the local communities. Into the Pine Forest (8 miles)

We will have an early start towards Nevado the Toluca where we will have breakfast in a cozy yet traditional restaurant

We will start our trek at 9:30 am through a magical forest atmosphere. The views are fantastic for you to take that Instagram photo you have always dreamed of. After five hours walking we will have lunch at an open valley with a beautiful view.

After lunch, we will walk two more hours until we arrive to a paradise valley in the middle of the mountains where we have everything prepared for you. After our arrival, we will serve you dinner, which is prepared by locals.

Butterfly Valley (10 miles)

After an incredible night, we will have a traditional Mexican breakfast. Once our bellies are full we will start our trek in which you will cross valleys, rivers, and get a chance to meet new friends. Lunch will be served at the heart of the forest with a little rest included. After lunch, we will continue trekking and finish walking in the Buddhist temple where we thank the forest for our safe passage.

After the trip, we will head back to Mexico City

WHAT KIND OF SHAPE DO I HAVE TO BE IN?

You don’t need to be a professional athlete to enjoy this vacation. However, when deciding which trip to join, it all comes down to being able to assess your personal level of fitness. Please see the level of activity in the trip description for more detail.

CAN I BRING MY OWN EQUIPMENT?

You are more than welcome to bring your own equipment.

WHAT IS THE REFUND POLICY?

If you cancel:

Two months before your trip starts: You get a full refund

One month before your trip starts: You get a 50% refund

Two weeks before your trip starts:  You get a 10% refund

One week before your trip starts: It is too late to get a refund

WHAT IS THE SIZE OF AN AVERAGE GROUP?

Up to 12  persons per group. However, on climbing sections there will be a maximum of two people per guide, as your safety is our first priority.

WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO GET TO THE TRIP START LOCATION?Air travel to Mexico City, Mexico
